Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?    (Jn 1:6-8; 19-28)

Will we recognize Jesus when He comes? More importantly, do we recognize Him now in our midst? Let us ponder these questions as we light the third candle of our Advent Wreath.

Advent Reconciliation Service

Monday, Dec 15, 7:00 P.M. in our church

This communal service is an excellent opportunity for us to prepare to welcome our Savior at Christmas. Several area priests will be available for individual confession.

A voice of one crying out in the desert: Prepare the way of the Lord (Mk 1:1-8)

As we prepare for the coming of the Lord, we light the second candle of our Advent Wreath.

Highlights of Advent, Week Four

Sunday, December 21

Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel.        (Lk 1:26-38)

The last of the four candles on our Advent Wreath is now lit. It will not burn long, for the birth of Jesus, the desire of our hearts, is to be celebrated in just four days.

Celebrated by Fr. Thom, this liturgy will feature the singing of a remarkable Children’s Choir who have been preparing especially for this holy eve.
